Business is one of the branches of the economy to generate daily income and no matter on behalf of individuals or groups. In fact, in Islam itself has stated that the business is 9/10 of the door of sustenance. To some extent this has been described that the business can be an opportunity for us to make a living. Most importantly, there needs to be capital and effort to grow the business. However, keep in mind that the business is not like the pursuit of profit simply because the business has become an ordinary loss. Muslims themselves have outlined the business from the perspective of Islam, namely to enlarge and expand the law or seeks religious activities and get a rich reward. Therefore, in business, we must always seek the pleasure of GOD Almighty that is by determining the right intentions and conduct business with the best. In addition, the business also, there are ethics that must be observed. The purpose of business ethics is none other than to ensure that Muslim traders in particular, avoid the heinous nature thus always been praiseworthy attributes along doing business. What is meant by this admirable qualities? They are as follows:
Honesty and Trust - Do not Cheat
Honest and trust !! That is the main characteristic that must exist in a Muslim trader. A dealer who cheats in sales is not always going to continue to benefit. People today are increasingly discerning and analyzing certainly will be able to smell the fraud carried out. Finally, the loss will turn back to the dealer because of dwindling confidence of buyers. And for that reason, Islam has projected that every Muslim must be honest transactions with its business. Never sell items that have been damaged, deceptive measure or scales, sell something to take advantage of a very big so difficult for buyers and so on. In terms of trust, a person should not do Muslim traders corrupt to achieve gains alone. Buying and selling activities were punctuated with breach of trust deeds only harm both sides. In the Al-Quran explicitly mentioned and dignity of the people to be honest, through Surah al-Tawbah verse 119, which means;
"O ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are honest. "
Through this section, clearly shows us that honesty is important and commendable nature, and should be practiced not only in business concepts rather well in the things of everyday life.
Avoid Riba '
What is usury? To achieve nature-pleasure pleased, dealers and buyers also should have a different attitude, which can tolerate each other. Generally, bargaining has become a norm in business between the seller and the buyer. Therefore, both sides should know the limits or boundaries in the bargain. If possible, do not be a problem for dealers tolerate provide lower prices and affordable as those offered by the buyer. However, the buyer should also be aware that they may not ask for a price that is too low as it can be injurious to the dealer. Therefore, starting from where the need for tolerance of each other and the result of compromise could lead to mutual pleased-pleased with between seller and buyer if the purchase takes place.
Islam emphasizes the concept of mutual purpose pleasure-pleased with one another is to ensure no any parties who will be oppressed. Businesses should work in a harmonious atmosphere and can be beneficial to both sides. It should be understood that the business concept is very broad. Businesses can also be classified as a contract that is both contracting parties must have their respective advantages. Attitude pleased-pleased is intended to avoid dissatisfaction and deceived the berkemugkinan can develop into a bigger problem.
Avoid Greed !!
Greed is an attitude that should be shunned by every Muslim traders. Greed will only backfired. Every Muslim should strive dealer and trying to get a living. Business opportunities that come in should be spent as well as possible. But remember, never ever take someone else's rights or opportunities in business with the intention of making a profit is double. Malay proverb mentions, 'the greedy always a loss, like a dog with a shadow. "In fact, this adage is true.

As a Muslim trader, we should always try and believe that the provision is determined by GOD Almighty. If we try in a good way, God willing, we will gain good fortune.
